Pimmit Run Stream Cleanup

Join the Pimmit Hills Environment Committee on Monday, February 16 (the MLK Holiday) to help clean our local environment with a stream cleanup and invasive plant removal along Pimmit Run. Help beautify the stream that our community is named after! Here are all the details:

When: Monday, January 16, 1-3 p.m.

Where: Meet at the bridge/footpath at the intersection of Pimmit and Paxton Dr.

Who: Everyone! Feel free to bring friends and family members. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

What are we doing/what should I wear? We will be picking up trash and removing invasive plants, so wear warm clothes that can get dirty.

What should I bring? Bring a water bottle and work gloves. Some extra work gloves will be available, and trash bags will be provided.

Pimmit Hills, founded in 1950, is located next to the Tysons Corner area in Virginia and is one of the largest communities in Fairfax County with over 1,640 homes.
