Pimmit Hills Garden Club Meet-Up

Attention all Pimmit Hills Gardeners!

Our first ‘meet-up’ of the informal Pimmit Hills Garden Club is at Deanne Eversmeyer's beautiful garden on Leonard Road, tomorrow, Saturday, May 19, around 3:00 pm (in the afternoon so it won't conflict with the Green Springs Garden plant sale that day).

Deanne is a Horticulturalist at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC and is a professional expert on plants and gardens. Stop by and take a tour of her amazing front & back yard gardens, ask gardening questions, share some extra plants you may have and meet other gardeners.

Deanne’s house is at 1918 Leonard Road near the corner of Griffith and Leonard and it’s right next to the Leonard Road entrance to Pimmit View Park. Because her street is a dead-end and there are a lot of cars park on the short street, it’s best to walk or park on Griffith. You can’t miss her house -- she has no lawn because it’s all garden.

As a reminder also tomorrow is the famous Green Springs Gardens plant sale:

Green Springs Gardens "Spring Garden Day" Plant Sale
Saturday, May 19, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
More than 40 vendors of rare and unusual plants descend on Green Spring Gardens to fill your spring gardening needs! Friends of Green Spring (FROGS) receive 10% off plants in the Garden Gate Plant Shop. Don’t miss this exciting annual tradition. More information
