NEW Pimmit Hills Citizens Association Website

The Pimmit Hills Citizens Association (PHCA) has a new, interactive membership website, but it’s still at the same address:   The new website is powered by a membership software company designed for community associations. Membership means once you pay your dues, you have access to the restricted parts of the website, including the new Community Forum where we can discuss issues.

We’ve already posted the first two topics: the sewer line replacement issue and the extra parking lot issue at the Pimmit Hills Center. The only way to access the Community Forum and post comments on this and other blogs on the site is to be a member of the PHCA.

Unlike in the past where we’ve taken membership dues via cash or check and you had to mail these in, it is all done securely on our website now. And, the yearly dues start when you become a member and are renewed one year later (no more September to September memberships). The site makes it easier for the PHCA Board to keep track of memberships and dues for better accounting. The dues go automatically into the PHCA bank account.

Unlike your friends and relatives who may live under a homeowners or condo association with high dues (anywhere from $100 to $800+ EACH MONTH), we’re a CITIZENS association so our YEARLY membership dues are very minimal. Here are our two membership levels:

  • Resident Membership is open to homeowners and renters currently living in Pimmit Hills. $20 annual dues
  • Non-Resident Membership is open to businesses, owners of PH houses who don't live here, former residents and other friends of Pimmit Hills. $25 annual dues

It's easy to join, just click on JOIN PHCA/PAY DUES. Your dues help fund community activities, neighborhood projects, our newsletter and the new membership website which will be a central resource to connect our neighborhood.

Once you’re a member, you can log in and see the Member-Only pages on the site (which you can’t see when you’re not logged in), including:

  • The Community Forum, where you can add your comments and discuss neighborhood issues
  • Advertise your local business (we want to encourage our community to “buy local” and use services/products from the small/home businesses of PH residents
  • The archive of Pimmit Hills Dispatch newsletters since 1952
  • Pimmit Hills history, photos Photo Galleries
  • And more

We also want to know your news, events and announcements.

On the front page, you’ll see upcoming community events we’ve already entered, but if something is missing, let us know.

On the Announcements page, we’d like to post your school announcements, clubs, organizations, church, Scouts, awards, graduations, birth, death, marriages, etc.

Our Classified Ads page is now more controlled than what we used before. Too many spammers were infiltrating it with junk. Your ad will now stand out and be relevant and current.

The emails that the PHCA President sends out will be transitioned over to being sent out via the website to the membership list. We’ll keep sending out the normal email for a period of time, but then we’ll transition over and you’ll only get the email as a members so join today, help out and be ‘virtually’ involved with your community and neighbors!
