Long-Time Pimmit Hills Resident William Webb, Sr Dies; Family Needs Assistance - Updated

PHCA was informed that long-time Pimmit Hills resident William Webb Sr of 7409 Bethune Street died suddenly of a massive heart attack on Friday, March 23, 2012.

The family is in very bad circumstances and needs help badly. There was no life insurance so they are short on funds for his burial services.

Most of the neighbors are trying to help come up with donations and food for them. To help the Webb family, please contact Tina Ermini at 703-506-4312.

His services will be Thursday, March 29th at 10:00am, Murphy Funeral Home on West Broad Street, Falls Church.

The Webb Family has been in the hills for 40 or 50 years when their parents bought the original home on the corner of Bethune and Burfoot.

Additional Information:

Dear Brothers & Sisters,

We have a family in the area going through a very rough time.

William Webb Sr of 7409 Bethune Street, Falls Church suffered a massive heart attack and passed away on Friday March 23rd. His 13 year old son found him on the living room floor already passed.

What makes matters worse is the family has no life insurance and no funds to finish paying for the burial services already in progress, and has been left with a hefty load of bills to pay. They really need help from everyone to help them through this tragedy.

Friends of the family are trying to get donations to help pay the funeral costs and gather food for the reception and for the family afterwards.

I am just trying to do what I can to get help for them. I spent many years in North Carolina as a child and young adult and remember neighbors and churches coming to the needs of others during times like this and just hope that they can experience that love. If I could also please ask for your prayers for this family during this time.
