2020 PHCA Board Elections

Breaking News:  Anyone interested in joining the PHCA Board - now is the time!

With the Treasurer resigning earlier this year and no one voicing an interest, our current Secretary has graciously volunteered to assume that role.  Additionally, our current President has decided not to run for re-election and the Vice-President has also decided to resign.  As a result, both President and Secretary positions will be open to nominations from the "floor" and after elections are completed, anyone interested in the Vice-President's role will be strongly considered for appointment.  Both Vice-President and Treasurer positions will be up for re-election next year.

Meeting information will follow as the meeting date approaches.  Also, be sure to renew your membership and send any proxy information to the Proxy Mailbox so your vote will count.

And now, from our outgoing Board members:

=============================
Makiko Oleynikov, Treasurer:
My other commitments have become too great for me to fulfill my position as the Treasurer.  I am very grateful for the PHCA members who elected me and allowed me to serve for the past three years.   I am so proud of all we have achieved as a team, and I have no doubt that the board will continue these successes in the future. Thank you!

Stephen Hall, Vice President:
PHCA is a wonderful organization that needs active involvement to thrive.  While I will continue to support PHCA as time permits, unfortunately due to life and career changes, I am sadly no longer able to give the commitment to PHCA it truly deserves by being an active member of the board.

Bob Heilen, President:
It has been a great honor to be of service as the president of the PHCA. I am proud of what the board has accomplished in partnership with the community.  We are truly blessed to live in a neighborhood full of people who are deeply engaged and passionately committed to making Pimmit Hills a better place.

After serving on the board for a little over 6 years, I believe it is time for me to step aside – not because I am disgruntled or disillusioned, but instead because I believe that Pimmit deserves a leader who can fully commit him/herself to serving our beautiful community. Like many of you, I have been juggling multiple competing priorities, especially since the advent of COVID. It has been difficult as of late for me to give the PHCA my full attention.

While I am stepping aside as president, I plan to continue supporting the PHCA as time allows. If you’re interested in joining the board, I encourage you to throw your hat in the ring. Rest assured that I will be rooting for you and would be happy to support you as you settle into your new role. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see the PHCA flourish and thrive.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve Pimmit Hills. I am grateful to be your neighbor.
