Watershed-Friendly Garden Tour
Sunday, June 10 from 1-5 p.m.

www.fairfaxcounty.gov/nvswcd/gardentour.htm

Get inspired to create an environmentally-friendly landscape at your home, school, business or place of worship. This year’s tour features rain gardens, native plants, porous pavers, green roofs, rain barrels and cisterns, conservation easements, bog gardens, no-mow zones, composting and more!

The tour is free, and the homeowners and hosts are knowledgeable and inspiring. With many sites near Pimmit Hills, it's easy to do.

Local residents open their gardens and share their experiences landscaping with our water resources in mind. Helpful tips and resources at each site will help you create these features in your own yard.

Please enjoy each garden at your own pace. Visit as many or as few as you like. Gardens are grouped for ease of viewing. Directions from a nearby intersection are included, but please also refer to a map. Invite a friend!
